Inspired

I've begun to look at websites to help generate ideas and to see what kind of style I want to use for when I create mine.

I came across  the website called Blu. It's a portfolio for their illustrations and their work. They use the idea of having a closed sketchbook as the homepage for you to interact with and flick through the different pages.

I like it because it's simple and easy to use but at the same time it's original and relates to the style of their work. Take a look.

Create a Button on Adobe Flash

In flash today we attempted to make our first buttons in preparation for our web designs.

We learnt how to create the button and the different stages of a button.

Start with creating a shape e.g. square or circle > then go to MODIFY > CONVERT TO BUTTON.

We then went through the stages e.g. Up, Over, Hit, Down.

This is the Up - The colour of the button before you hover over it in 1 frame.

The Over - The stage of the button when you hover over it.

The Hit - The stage where you click the button.

The Down - This is the stage of the button after you click it.

These are the basics of what we learnt, we went on to learn how to add animation to make the button more interactive, this helped for ideas for when we do create our websites.
